About Natalie Binns
Better Fashion Consultancy is a UK-based fashion sourcing and product strategy consultancy founded by Natalie Binns, a former senior buyer at ASOS and AllSaints. She helps founder-led fashion brands improve margins, make better sourcing decisions, and build sustainable product strategy.
Before setting up Better Fashion Consultancy, Natalie Binns had a successful career in buying with globally recognised brands. But living in Sydney, Australia for a period of 4 years and travelling frequently to Asia to connect with skilled garment workers was what awakened Natalie to the huge impact of the fashion industry on people and the planet. Natalie was driven to use her commercial skills and passion for sustainability to help fashion brands reduce their impact and become the more conscious choice. In 2019, Better Fashion Consultancy was born.
Since launching her consultancy Natalie has advised 100s of fashion businesses, been a frequent guest on BBC Radio 4 including Woman's Hour, guest lectured for The Prince's Trust and The University of Westminster, written course content for the National Fashion College, Sydney, hosted and spoken on various panels and featured as a returning judge in Drapers Den alongside Touker Suleyman.
Natalie's driving force is to effect system change so she welcomed the opportunity to speak at the 2024 All Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion and Hairdressing and attend the parliamentary roundtable on clothing poverty and fashion waste hosted by fashion social enterprise Give Your Best.
